Unlearning the corrupted “gospel according to Joseph Smith” and replacing it with the Biblical gospel can be an exciting yet difficult journey for those raised in Mormonism. As we help others through this process, I often remember my own journey and experiences learning how to BE a Christian rather than striving to earn
salvation.
Someone who has been raised under the dark cloud of polygamy more easily understands the difficult journey each person must go through as they also unlearn the doctrine they were raised to believe. I had the same questions and doubts and had to unlearn the same religious lies and struggled to learn what living by faith was all about.
In Christianity, we know a different Jesus, a different heaven, and a different salvation than Mormonism teaches. It can be a very difficult journey for some, but God is faithful and honors the genuine faith of poor sinners and genuine truth seekers. To be honest, its easy to become distressed and impatient when we see the awful widespread damage that polygamy does and has done to so many people. May God be pleased to quickly release those imprisoned in Mormon polygamy whose emotions are easily manipulated because their minds are caught in their huge network of religious lies.

MORMON POLYGAMY HISTORY
~~It all began with Joseph Smith~~
"If the women would not submit to polygamy, they should be eternally damned." These are Brigham Young's own words, often repeated in council and sometimes in the public Tabernacle. Old Mormons do not hesitate to say that the word "damned" may be interpreted as a synonym for murdered, and that the threat has frequently been carried into execution. There are also many instances on record where the destined victim has anticipated her doom, and precipitated it by her own hand, preferring death to shame and dishonor. Verily it is not exaggeration to declare that the annals of this horrible system can never be truly transcribed until they are written in letters of blood.
"Whatever the origin of the revelation, it is certain that it did not meet with a very enthusiastic reception at first, and by very many it was viewed with abhorrence; for there were men among them who dearly loved their wives, and who were jealous of the honor of their mothers and sisters. These men, notwithstanding their devotion to their leader and their religion, could not readily believe that Heaven could either command or sanction the practice of a system so dishonoring to the sex, and so contrary to every principle of morality and the usages of civilization. Some of the stronger minded, and of purer hearts, made a brave resistance, and a large number apostatized, and left the church forever.
"The maidens were as adverse to becoming plural wives, as were the first wives to have their rights invaded and their homes desecrated; but where flattery failed to cajole or threats to intimidate, special revelations were obtained to suit special cases. The history of.Joseph Smith's revelations would prove interesting reading, and would make a volume of no mean dimensions, as he claimed to have received thirty-seven distinct communications from Heaven in the year 1831 alone. It was a great habit with him, after he had committed some particular breach of decorum, to obtain a revelation assuring him that "the Lord forgave his servant Joseph his special sins.
"One woman who was deceived into becoming a plural wife at 17 years old, later realized the deception and said: "How could I have been so blind and foolish! How could I have let those wicked men dispose of me body and soul, as if I had been a calf or a dog … "The happiest day I spent for twenty years was the day I saw him laid in the grave." THE LATEST NEWS ABOUT WARREN JEFFS is that he has begun to re-take control of the FLDS members from his prison cell in Texas. We received the following information in an email from an ex-FLDS who continues to have insider information: “Jeffs has again taken over running the FLDS from his prison cell and controls through his son Helaman. He has put out the word that he wants all men who once followed him to re-establish themselves as members of the FLDS. The only way they can do this is by claiming all their minor children back to themselves and bringing them under the control of the FLDS. Then and only then, will these men have a chance to get in the good grace of Warren Jeffs, the prophet, and back into the good graces of God.
“A loving mom heartbreakingly cries for her children as they are taken from her by a father who is loyal to a man who claims to be a prophet of God. They can’t even give hugs to say goodbye and don’t know if they will ever see each other again. They feel forced to comply with the “will of God”. There was nothing that could be done because it is a civil matter. A single mom, dad, or child can’t fight alone against a powerful church. But the Lord can. It seems that Utah and the Mormon religion are constantly embroiled in sexual abuse scandals. Its happening again with charges against the LDS church of not protecting a known child sexual abuser or reporting it to the proper civil authorities. Another scandal brewing is human trafficking and sexual abuse in Utah County possibly involving some high profile people who have thus far escaped investigation.
