|Biblical Passages That Teach
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD
The majority of the verses we list here explicitly teach that there is only ONE GOD, anywhere, everywhere and at anytime from eternity past to eternity future.
We have also included verses that are not explicitly teaching ONE GOD but strongly suggest the existence of only one. These passages are sustained as teaching ONE GOD simply because of the prodigious proofs of the more explicit verses, and because He is often referred to as the CREATOR of the earth and the heavens.
And finally, we have also included verses which teach that God is the FIRST and the LAST precluding any possibility of any other “gods” at any time, either before or after our ONE and ONLY TRUE God. This is the GOD who inhabits all of the heavens therefore He would be aware of all or any other “gods.”
